In The Heights is one of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals, making its film adaptation a major cultural event. For this project, we contributed to several key aspects of the production, bringing the vibrant energy of the story to life through art and design. Our work included the creation of a series of murals featured on the film’s recording set, each designed to reflect the rich cultural essence of the narrative. We also collaborated closely with Mack Russell, the Special Effects Director, to develop a series of illustrations of iconic women for the film’s opening sequence. Additionally, we customized the Warner Bros. logo for the film’s intro, incorporating the distinctive style we developed specifically for In The Heights. This project allowed us to merge visual storytelling with cinematic artistry, celebrating the spirit and legacy of the original musical.
