The Hidden Treasure Festival 2024 revolved around the theme “3D-Odyssey,” encouraging artists to delve into their personal journeys. The concept celebrates the highs and lows of the creative process, inviting participants to craft works that reflect resilience, inspiration, and transformation. For this festival, I designed a mural featuring a futuristic interpretation of Doña Patria, a recurring character in my work that embodies the essence of a Dominican woman. This version of Doña Patria is portrayed with her iconic rolos, symbolizing tradition, pride, and the unyielding spirit of Dominican identity.
